Joanna Lovell (she/her/hers) is a virtual content creator, choir director/music minister, and audio engineer. She has worked in the AV integration industry for the last 5 years and has gained technical expertise in the areas of video conferencing and digital signage. Prior she was music director for 9 years at FUUFHC in NJ, and choir director for UU Fellowship of Vero Beach in Florida for 2 years. She trained in Audio Production and Engineering at Center for the Media Arts and worked at Battery Recording Studios in Manhattan for most of the 1990’s. As a lifelong UU, she has always believed in the power of collaboration. While a choir director in NJ she started DreamingTree Coffeehouse and led many volunteers to create an intimate venue for professional folk musicians. She also formed the NJ UU Music Directors group and has fostered the collaboration between all of the music directors in her region. She has organized choir swaps and advocated for resource sharing among the larger UU music community. Most recently she has received a CTS certification as a Technology Specialist from the AV industry. She currently resides in Bethlehem PA with her cat Beatrice.
