Hello,

My name is David and I'm your Torah Tech Guy

Centuries ago, Rabban Yochanan ben Zakkai helped re-create Judaism for a new world - a world in which the ancient temples of practice were replaced with more expansive and accessible modes of Jewish living and learning. Today, we are facing yet another disruption to the accepted norms of how we engage in Jewish life and community.

The isolation and digitization necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic has opened up new pathways for Jews to connect with Torah and Jewish community and has presented new challenges and opportunities to rabbis, cantors, educators, musicians, and communal leaders to reach, teach, and preach their Torah.

There are a multitude of tools and technologies available to us as we re-imagine our teaching and leading. Unfortunately, our training most likely did not include video production, audio routing, online engagement, and building community in digital space. These new job requirements can seem overwhelming. That's why I'm here. My name is David Paskin (aka "Rabbi David") and I'm your Torah Tech Guy.

I'm here to share great TECH for your great TORAH and to help you find the tools and resources you need to continue to inspire, educate, and engage with your congregants, students, and community members.
